To Write or to Paint Intercultural Research? is a short article that respond to the importance to build new languages, added to alphabetic literacy or numbers or graphics, to rearch writing, particularly in qualitative research, working with indigenous students. The author brings results on the use of drawing, painting, writing poetry o create videos by students en on teaching-learning processes about qualitative research in Intercultural Bilingual Education with indigenous students of "18 Schoarship". She observed broad students´ motivation using these languages. Additonally, she presents her doctoral thesis experience with the use use of drawings and paintings infantiles de niños y niñas del Ande rural del Cusco, y narraciones de los mismos.
