Revisión de las reformas académica y administrativa del Centro de Estudios Preuniversitarios (CEPU)

This review presents the reforms in the academic and administrative management of the CEPU in
the period 2020-2022. The reforms aim to improve effectiveness in management, on the one hand
in academics (1) the study plan is changed incorporating the subjects of Personal Development and
Culture and Society, with the purpose of aligning the training proposal with the entry profile of the
UPCH and, on the other hand, seek not only training to enter but also to develop skills and attitudes
as necessary attributes for university life; (2) administratively, the functional organization chart is
changed to matrix to improve both academic and administrative efficiency. The process and initial
results of the implemented reforms are presented, the impacts of which are favorable on student
and university satisfaction.
