Episódio psicótico em adolescente de 11 anos: caso clínico

A psicose é uma doença que atinge a pessoa de forma abrangente, que geralmente começa em idade precoce. Isso gera uma grave distorção no funcionamento global do sujeito. A psicose infantil é considerada uma fase prodrômica, que se caracteriza por apresentar sintomas psicóticos ativos atenuados, que afetam o desenvolvimento normal dos pacientes infantis.
O tratamento farmacológico sugerido para esse tipo de psicopatologia baseia-se principalmente no uso de antipsicóticos de segunda geração (atípicos), além de tratamento psicológico ao paciente e à rede familiar.
É apresentado o caso clínico de um paciente de 11 anos que apresenta sintomas psicóticos com comportamento suicida. Uma avaliação inicial é realizada para estabelecer tratamento farmacológico baseado em antipsicóticos atípicos.
