Síndrome retroviral aguda apresentando-se como encefalopatia e ataxia cerebelar: relato de caso e revisão da literatura

A síndrome retroviral aguda (SRA) é um dos cenários clínicos possíveis nos estágios iniciais da infecção pelo HIV, tem apresentações variáveis, mas é caracterizada por alta carga viral e sintomas inespecíficos. Descrevemos o caso de um paciente do sexo masculino, 21 anos, que apresentou quadro de encefalopatia aguda e ataxia cerebelar, em cujo estudo foi diagnosticada infecção pelo HIV e identificada RSA.Referências
