Síndrome retroviral agudo manifestado como encefalitis y ataxia cerebelosa: reporte de caso y revisión de la literatura

El síndrome retroviral agudo (SRA) es uno de los escenarios clínicos posibles en los estadios tempranos de la infección por HIV, tiene presentaciones variables, pero se caracteriza por alta carga viral y clínica inespecífica. Describimos el caso de un paciente varón de 21 años que cursó con encefalopatía aguda y ataxia cerebelosa, en cuyo estudio se diagnosticó infección por VIH y se identificó el cuadro de SRA.
