Reabilitação funcional a partir da terapia ocupacional em pessoas com síndrome de Guillain-Barré: uma revisão de escopo

O objetivo desta revisão é analisar e sintetizar a evidência científica recente sobre as intervenções de terapia ocupacional na reabilitação de pessoas com síndrome de Guillain-Barré. Foi realizada uma revisão de escopo fundamentada na diretriz PRISMA-ScR. A busca bibliográfica foi conduzida nas bases de dados PubMed/MEDLINE, Scopus e Web of Science Core Collection, abrangendo estudos publicados entre 2023 e 2025. Foram incluídas pesquisas que abordassem processos de reabilitação ou intervenções de terapia ocupacional em população diagnosticada com síndrome de Guillain-Barré, por meio de uma síntese qualitativa narrativa. Foram identificados nove estudos, com predominância de delineamentos descritivos e relatos de caso. Os achados revelam que a terapia ocupacional é integrada principalmente nas fases subaguda e crônica do processo reabilitador. As intervenções concentraram-se no treinamento em atividades da vida diária, na funcionalidade dos membros superiores, na adaptação do ambiente e na reinserção social. Os achados evidenciam um predomínio de delineamentos descritivos e relatos de caso. Conclui-se que, embora a terapia ocupacional realize contribuições relevantes na reabilitação funcional de pessoas com síndrome de Guillain-Barré, a evidência científica ainda é limitada. Consequentemente, faz-se necessário fortalecer a pesquisa futura por meio de estudos com maior rigor metodológico.
