Abordagem fisioterapêutica para a dor no ombro em jogadores de basquetebol em cadeira de rodas no esporte adaptado: uma revisão de escopo

O objetivo desta revisão foi mapear a evidência científica disponível sobre as intervenções fisioterapêuticas para o controle da dor no ombro em jogadores de basquetebol em cadeira de rodas. A revisão de escopo abrange estudos desde 1960 até dezembro de 2024, reunindo informações de três bases de dados e dez mecanismos de busca bibliográfica. A busca inicial identificou 3631 artigos, dos quais 5 atenderam aos critérios de inclusão. Publicados entre 2019 e 2023 na Itália, Espanha e Irã, esses estudos incluíram entre 10 e 36 jogadores de basquetebol em cadeira de rodas. Foram analisadas diferentes abordagens fisioterapêuticas para a dor no ombro, destacando-se programas de exercícios terapêuticos e estratégias associadas à eletromiografia de superfície. Conclui-se que os programas de exercícios focados no fortalecimento do manguito rotador, na estabilidade escapular e na melhora da amplitude de movimento, representam um componente fundamental da abordagem fisioterapêutica para o controle da dor no ombro em jogadores de basquetebol em cadeira de rodas. Além disso, a incorporação de ferramentas tecnológicas, como a eletromiografia de superfície e a análise cinemática, tem demonstrado utilidade para otimizar e individualizar os tratamentos de cada atleta.
