The authors detail the cultural pattern of the aborigines of ancient Peru related to lice of the scalp, for which they reviewed various writings left to us by the chroniclers who dealt with the subject. They also show some photographs of ceramic potteries from the Mochica culture in which they have splendidly depicted women delousing.
