Abstract

Physiotherapy, through magnetic therapy (magnetotherapy), can intervene in endocrine functioning and organic dysfunctions, for this reason, this technique is considered as a potential tool to generate and demonstrate results in treatments of endocrine and organic disorders. The present study analyzes 4 cases where magnetotherapy was used as an alternative of choice for cysts of hormonal origin and other organic alterations. It is evident that the physiotherapeutic diagnosis has been di erent from the medical diagnosis, however, the use of magnetotherapy has resulted in positive changes in the alterations evidenced in patients. In conclusion, magnet therapy has potential as an alternative therapy for the treatment of endocrine disorders and organic dysfunctions.
