Abstract

Objective: To determine the level of satisfaction of patients who have received physiotherapeutic care in the Department of Motor and Pain Unit of the National Institute of Rehabilitation (INR) in Lima, Peru; and the description of sociodemographic, academic and clinical characteristics. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional study was realized in 280 patients who received physiotherapeutic care at the INR during the months of August to November 2015. The level of patient satisfaction was obtained using the SERVQUALquestionnaire. Results: The global satisfaction level was 76.4%. Greater satisfaction was found in the dimension of tangible elements (78.8%), followed by security (77.9%), empathy (76.3%). Reliability (67.6%) and responsiveness (55.0%). Conclusions: The level of global satisfaction in the patients that were evaluated was acceptable; However in the dimension of responsiveness resulted in process, being necessary to implement measures that allow its increase.
