The voice of Cayetano’s female doctors: Inspiration and discontents of the medical profession

This article collects testimonies of female doctors graduated from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (classes of1974-75), highlighting their motivations, challenges, and achievements. Topics such as gender equality, work-life balance,the impact of mentoring and its contribution to the community are addressed. Their stories reflect vicissitudes andcommitment, inspiring future generations.
