Abstract

Learning was and continues to be studied in the educational field. In recent decades to this day, different approaches have been discussed that explain their nature in classrooms. This article proposes an approach to constructivist conception, meaningful learning and connectivism in the framework of the study of mathematics. The impact of the application of the problem-solving method on learning and academic performance of mathematics in the university environment is also reviewed.
