Objective: To determine the relationship between non-occupational psychosocial risk factors and work stress in drivers of public transport companies in times of Covid-19. Material and method: Quantitative approach, correlational type design and cross-section with a population made up of 100 drivers from three public transport companies that meet the inclusion criteria. The execution was semi-face-to-face, with the delivery of informed consent, two self-administered questionnaires and a general data sheet, the data were coded in a database in Ms Excel and through the statistical program Stata version 17.0 the interpretation with correlation coefficient was performed. Spearman's (rho). Results: The level of work stress in 100% of the drivers was high, the social, economic and family extra-work psychosocial risk factors were statistically significant, prevailing the social factor with a 95% very high risk. There is a direct relationship between the variables with Spearman's Rho of 0.366. Conclusions: A low-level positive direct relationship was found between extra-occupational psychosocial risk factors and the level of work stress.
